It's not my intent to write every day, but it's just worked out that way this week!
Today was a historic moment . . . we have our first female Speaker of the House! Although I am happy about it (regardless of your political affiliation, if you're a woman, you should be happy), I find it sad that it has taken so long. What took so long? England had a female prime minister in the 80's. Canada had a female prime minister in 1993! Although we try to act like we are modern, are we really?
