Coldplay Rocks!

I went to see Coldplay tonight. What a concert! I have always liked them, but after seeing them live and how much they put into their show, I like them even more. Check out the weblink for a clip from one of their songs. Wow!

Kid Rock rocks!

Last night I saw Kid Rock in concert. An awesome show -- didn't sit down at all the entire night. He really knows how to entertain his fans. Wall to wall people and just a good time overall. If you like him, you need to see him in concert.

Do you feel lucky? / Answer the Call

Well, it's 7/7/07. The day that everyone feels is a lucky day. Seems like another day to me. Other than the Live Earth concerts. All day I have been thinking about Live Aid from the 80's. I found myself watching way too much of these concerts. It has also been educational about we as individuals can do to make a difference. Check it out. Answer the call.

Columbus, An Intersting Town

I went to Columbus, OH on Wednesday for a business trip. We got back yesterday. The hotel we stayed at was fabulous, but I must say that I encountered some interesting people along the way. I wouldn't know where to begin in describing it, other than imagine being a bar/restaurant when all of a sudden you are overwhelmed with over 21 women (a few men, but they were only about 1% of the total), coming in excited about the Christina Aguilera concert they went to. It was something and the selection of attire made me flash back to the 80's. I really think some were caught in a time warp. I would have thought of it as a one time thing, but the next night wasn't much different in regards to the choice of attire. All I can say is never a dull moment!

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Thanks to the Troy Marriott, a bunch of us from work were treated to the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert at the Palace. We received transportation in the form of a party bus, suite tickets, and a LOT of beverages. The night ended with complimentary accommodations at the hotel. Some of you may have received some text messages and/or photos sent from me. I hope you enjoyed them. I'm starting to get better at typing these text messages!

It was a great time and it was nice to get out. Elijah spent the night with Grandpa S and had fun as well. It was back to the routine on Saturday with a morning karate class.
