Last night was a graduation ceremony for Elijah and his class. It was very cute. They sang a few songs, received some awards, overall had a good time. Elijah has been at this place since he was three months old, so they gave him, along with a few other children, bouquets of flowers for being there so long. It definitely was a milestone moment.
Today he went and belt tested in karate. Yesterday is Sensei came to his class at daycare and showed the class a few tips on defending themselves. Anyway, he now has a white with blue stripe belt. He's starting off in the advanced class one day a week, so they said that the next time he tests, he may go right to yellow belt (usually next would be white with purple stripe and then white with brown stripe).
Other than that, not much going on. I'm struggling in auditing and spent part of the week last week looking for a tutor. If you know of anyone, please let me know! Enjoy your weekend!

This started out as an opportunity to collect some stories for Elijah to have about his daddy. However, since no one posts any, it has become my avenue to share stories and information about Elijah as well as my friends and family. I still want Gary stories, so don't be shy! Gary Dysarz Memorial Scholarship
A scholarship has been started in honor of Gary. To donate, go to the TKE Educational Foundation website. In the bottom right corner is a link called 'Click & Pledge'. When the form pops up, you want "Chapter Scholarship Funds". The last screen there is a spot for notes and comments. Please put: "Gary Dysarz Memorial Scholarship - Rho Tau Chapter."
