Unbelievable

As I was leaving work today I happened to catch a quick glimpse of CNN. It was doing a report about a school that has banned hugs and handshakes. WTF? I saw some woman commenting that it cuts down on harassment in the schools. Do you think it cuts down on humanity too? What is the world coming to when a student gets suspended for hugging another student. Are we so afraid of offending someone else that we should compromise our beliefs? I feel this is going way too far. I found the article online if you are interested. It infuriates me and makes me feel even better about putting my son in a catholic school where he will learn amongst other things, how to love and appreciate the differences in others.
